Recent Activity

The Canadian Energy Training Experts at CPTI have covered many continents and countries over the course of our 40 plus years in operation and we continue to expand and evolve with the changing times. 2020 proved to be a landmark year for everyone and even though plans may have changed and work may have slowed, CPTI remains committed to finding new ways to meet the ever changing needs of our clients and provide the same level of excellence from Alberta to Kuala Lampur. Hydrogen Development Presentation

CPTI has provided two presentations on Hydrogen Development in Ecuador during 2022 for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) as well as the Government of Ecuador itself.

A series of presentations for the Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) as well as the Southern Alberta Insurance Institute.

Alternative Energy Programs for First Nations

We've provided 25 separate presentations on Alternative Energy for First Nations Bands in Alberta. Topics included were Hydrogen Development, Carbon Capture, Biomass, Geothermal, Solar, and Wind.

Canada - 2020/Early 2021

Pipeline Construction Readiness Programs

CPTI has provided eight day programs for various Pipeline Contractors to prepare workers for work on Pipeline Construction. These programs include the steps from Pipeline Design to Construction to Commissioning to Operations plus the necessary Safety Programs such as Pipeline Construction, Ground Disturbance, WHMIS, etc.

Wellsite Abandonment and Reclamation

A series of two-day programs on the steps to properly carry out everything from the planning of a wellsite abandonment to the final Remediation and Reclamation of the surface location. The program is designed to provide the participants with the knowledge and Safety Tickets required to work with Service Companies addressing over 100,000 abandoned/inactive wells in Alberta.

Insurance Companies

A series of half day presentations on various aspects of Energy Development have been delivered virtually to Insurance companies from Ontario to British Columbia.

Ecuador - January 2020

A series of presentations for First Nations in various cities in Ecuador on the types of Energy Programs that CPTI has been providing to First Nations in Canada covering Petroleum Development and Clean Energy such as Geothermal, Solar, and Wind.

Contracts In Place

CPTI is preparing to provide training presentations in Ghana regarding current petroleum technology development as well as a series of safety certification for offshore workers in Cameroon in addition to our one month horizontal and multilateral drilling training program.
